Brad Arkin oversees Salesforce’s security strategy, building trust with stakeholders, and protecting customer data in an AI-first world. Previously, Brad was Chief Security and Trust Officer at Cisco and served as the security chief at Adobe for 12 years. He holds a B.S. in computer science and mathematics from the College of William and Mary, M.S. in computer science from GWU, and an MBA from Columbia University and London Business School.

Brian Gumbel is the Corporate Market Advisor at Dataminr, responsible for overseeing the company’s next growth phase by spearheading its global enterprise strategy across public and private sector sales, operations, customer success, marketing, and partnerships.

A seasoned business and cybersecurity leader with 25-plus years of experience, Brian has a proven track record of driving transformative revenue growth and successfully building high-performance teams, optimizing operations, and fueling go-to-market strategies. 

Before Dataminr, he served as president and COO of Armis, transforming it from an early-stage cybersecurity startup into the No. 1 cyber asset management company.

Darren Argyle is a highly accomplished and internationally recognized executive in the field of cybersecurity and technology. With extensive hands-on leadership experience, he has held Group CISO and executive cyber risk roles at prominent organizations, including Standard Chartered Bank, Qantas Airlines, and S&P Global (formerly Markit), among others. His career journey also spans roles at leading multinational technology vendors such as Symantec and IBM, reinforcing his track record of success on a global scale. Achievements include Top 100 CISO’s globally in 2017 and 2022 and awarded ‘Innovator of the Year’ by SANS Institute in 2022. In 2023, he was awarded the Chief Security Officer Top 30 (CSO30) for the third consecutive year, including receiving the first inaugural Leadership award for CSO30. A former Group CISO four times, including S&P Global (formally Markit), Qantas Airlines, Standard Chartered Bank, IBM

Dave Komendat is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Market Advisory Board and the former Chief Security Officer of The Boeing Company, where he was responsible for all components of Boeing’s global security including site security, supply chain and aviation security, and strategic intelligence. 

He was also the lead Boeing interface for national and international security policy engagement with various government and industry advisory groups, and was president of the International Security Management Association, former private sector co-chair of The Domestic Security Alliance Council and chair of the Department of Homeland Security’s Critical Manufacturing Sector.

Elizabeth Hackenson is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board and the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Schneider Electric, responsible for global and local digital solutions, infrastructure, the company’s network security and the experience of 150,000+ employees.

Her more than 30 years of experience leading technology operations and transformation initiatives across large-scale organizations includes chief information officer roles at companies like AES, Alcatel-Lucent and MCI.

Guy is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board and the former Chief Digital Officer & President of Digital Businesses at Endeavor, a talent and entertainment conglomerate. In that role, he oversaw global efforts across product management, engineering, data platforms, digital marketing, as well as the company’s digital businesses. 

Prior to Endeavor, Guy served in leadership roles at Ebay and  PayPal. He is the  inventor of three issued patents in the areas of e-commerce and mobile payments, and served as a board member for leading cybersecurity firm Bluevoyant and iconic fashion retailer Timbuk2.

Jen Easterly is the Chair of Dataminr’s Corporate Market Advisory Board and a Visiting Fellow at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford. She also serves as a Strategic Advisor to Huntress. 

A globally recognized thought leader on cybersecurity, secure-by-design innovation, emerging technologies, and national resilience, Jen’s career spans more than three decades across the public and private sectors. Most recently, Jen served as the Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), where she led efforts to protect and defend U.S. critical infrastructure from cyber threats. At Morgan Stanley, Jen led Firm Resilience and built the company’s Cybersecurity Fusion Center. She also helped establish the U.S. Cyber Command and commanded the U.S. Army’s first cyber operations battalion. Jen served twice at the White House and held senior leadership roles at the National Security Agency.

Jen is a graduate of West Point, a Rhodes Scholar, and a two-time recipient of the Bronze Star.

Jesse is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Amtrak, where he leads the management of cyber risk and information security matters. He is a cybersecurity, data privacy, safety and risk management executive with decades of public and private sector experience—and 20-plus years of experience in the security industry and military leadership.

Jesse held several leadership positions at the U.S. Department of Defense Cybersecurity Operations Center, was named the Pentagon’s 2017 Senior Civilian Employee of the Year and  is a graduate of the esteemed FBI CISO Academy.

Jim Rosenthal is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board and co-founder and CEO of BlueVoyant. He was the chief operating officer of Morgan Stanley until 2017, where he was accountable to the CEO and the board of directors for cybersecurity. 

Jim is the recipient of the 2017 Critical Infrastructure Protection Award from the Financial Services Information Sharing and AnalysisCenter and co-chairman of Sheltered Harbor, a consortium of major banks, securities firms, industry associations and technology service providers with the mission of preserving systemic confidence in the event of a cyber attack.

Michael Morgan is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Phillips 66. Previously, he served 22 years as a special agent at the FBI. While there, Michael served as a subject matter expert for private and public sectors in cybersecurity, intellectual property, data privacy, trade secret protection and insider threats—and was responsible for fostering relationships with C-suite and senior officials and cybersecurity and counterintelligence training. 

Michael has a BS in finance from Illinois State University, an MSJ from Seton Hall University School of Law and completed the CISO executive program at Carnegie Mellon University.

Nick Shevelyov is the Founder and CEO of vCSO.ai and author of Cyber War…and Peace: Building Digital Trust Today with History as Our Guide. He spent 15 years as Chief Security Officer at Silicon Valley Bank (2007–2021), where he led enterprise security through hypergrowth, financial crises, and the digital transformation of the innovation economy’s most active bank.

Nick brings a distinctive lens to cybersecurity strategy—applying lessons from military history and behavioral economics to redefine how organizations detect, prioritize, and respond to risk. He is the architect of several security frameworks, including the “Red Swan” concept, addressing the systemic failure of assumed security controls. His frameworks have shaped how security leaders think about verification, resilience, and the limits of static defense.

Today, vCSO.ai advises enterprises on security leadership and assists cybersecurity product companies optimize their go-to-market positioning and channel strategies. Nick serves on the Board of Directors of AuthID (AUID) and the Bay Area CSO Council, and is a pivotal advisor to venture capital and private equity firms on security investments.

Tom Glocer is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board and the former CEO of Thomson Reuters. He joined Thomson Reuters in 1993, where he held numerous senior leadership positions, including president of Latin America and president of America. Prior to that, Tom was a merger and acquisitions lawyer for U.S. law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell. 

Tom is co-founder and executive chairman of cyber defense company Bluevoyant, and director of the Atlantic Council, Merck & Co., Morgan Stanley, and Publicis Groupe. He is also a member and former director of the Council on Foreign Relations, a think tank specializing in U.S. foreign policy and international affairs.

Tim Roemer is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board and Chief Security Officer at Global Market Innovators. 

Before that, he was appointed by Governor Doug Ducey as the Director of the Arizona Department of Homeland Security and CISO for the state of Arizona. He was the only person in the U.S. to serve in this type of dual role and also advised the governor on a wide range of security issues including counterterrorism, cybersecurity and border security. 

Prior to working for the state of Arizona, Tim served in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for 10 years. His last two years were spent in the White House Situation Room, providing critical national security updates to the president, vice president, and National Security Council.
