Myrna Soto is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Market Advisory Board and Founder and CEO of Apogee Executive Advisors LLC, a boutique firm focused on corporate governance, technology risk management, cybersecurity, mergers and acquisitions, and capital investments. Previously, she served as Chief Strategy and Trust Officer at Forcepoint, a global cybersecurity technology company.

Myrna serves as a board member and advisor to a number of privately held technology and cybersecurity firms, and brings deep expertise at the intersection of security strategy, corporate development, and board governance.

Katrin Suder is a member of Dataminr’s Public Sector Advisory Board and the former Chairwoman of the Digital Council of the German Federal Government under Angela Merkel. From 2014 to 2018, Suder was the Permanent State Secretary for Planning, Armaments, IT & Cyber at the German Federal Ministry of Defence.

Prior to that, she worked for McKinsey & Company with a focus on telecommunications, IT and public sector. She received her doctorate in theoretical physics in 2000.

Teri Takai is a member of Dataminr’s Public Sector Advisory Board and the former Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the U.S. Department of Defense and the states of California Michigan. Prior to working in the government sector, she held positions at Ford Motor Company, responsible for strategic planning and global application development before moving to EDS. Teri served as CIO for Meridian Health Plan, and is currently Senior Vice President at the Center of Digital Government.

Timothy Torres is Chief Security Officer at TriNet and serves as a dual-role technology executive, leading product, engineering, and go-to-market solutions that directly enable business growth.  As Chief Security Officer, Timothy is responsible for enabling business transformation and protecting customer trust, with enterprise accountability for cybersecurity, product security, fraud, business resilience, crisis management, and physical security and safety.  Timothy has 25+ years of experience building and scaling security programs for Fortune 500 companies.  

Timothy serves on multiple boards, including HealthRIGHT 360, and advises emerging technology and security startups.

Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant General Stephen M. Twitty is a member of Dataminr’s Public Sector Advisory Board. He assumed command of First U.S. Army in 2016 and became deputy commander of U.S. European Command in 2018. Previously, he was commanding general of Fort Bliss and the 1st Armored Division. Stephen served in five combat deployments, including tours in the Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait. 

He founded consulting firm Twitty and Associates and is a national security and military analyst for MSNBC.

Jesse is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Amtrak, where he leads the management of cyber risk and information security matters. He is a cybersecurity, data privacy, safety and risk management executive with decades of public and private sector experience—and 20-plus years of experience in the security industry and military leadership.

Jesse held several leadership positions at the U.S. Department of Defense Cybersecurity Operations Center, was named the Pentagon’s 2017 Senior Civilian Employee of the Year and  is a graduate of the esteemed FBI CISO Academy.

Renee P. Wynn is a member of Dataminr’s Public Sector Advisory Board and the former Chief Information Officer (CIO) at NASA, where she led the effort to collaborate with complex NASA mission programs to improve NASA’s global cybersecurity posture and continuously transform IT management.

Previously, she served at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for over 25 years, during which she held a number of executive positions, including acting CIO and assistant administrator for the Office of Environmental Information.
