Patrick Joyce is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Market Advisory Board and Global Resident CISO at Proofpoint. Prior to joining Proofpoint in 2023, he served as Vice President and Chief Security Officer at Medtronic, where he led global security strategy, operations, and initiatives across one of the world’s largest medical device companies.
Patrick is a board member, advisor, thought leader and respected global security leader with expertise and broad business experience in organizations from early start-up to converged and global enterprises. He brings more than 40 years of experience across public and private sector organizations, spanning healthcare, travel, hospitality, and IT consulting. Earlier in his career, he served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and in the broader U.S. Intelligence Community.
