Morgan Hitzig is a member of Dataminr’s Public Sector Advisory Board and a General Partner at Overmatch, where she invests in AI, deep tech, space, and defense. A Dataminr alumna, she spent five years at the company during its hypergrowth years, leading and scaling teams across operations, marketing, and partnerships. She also held senior leadership roles at Peregrine Technologies and previously invested in early-stage defense, supply chain, and enterprise AI companies at Venrock.
Prior to technology, Morgan served in the NYPD’s Counterterrorism Bureau and held earlier roles at Bank of America, CNN, and the Scowcroft Group. She is an Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve, holds a B.A. in International Studies from Johns Hopkins and an M.A. in Strategic Studies and International Economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
