Juan Sabater is an observer for Dataminr’s board of directors. He is also Partner and Co-President of Valor Equity Partners, primarily responsible for its capital raise and client service functions. He also focuses on investment prospect generation, due diligence of potential investments, and investment structuring and execution.
Juan has over 25 years of private equity investing and investment banking experience. He serves on the boards of several charitable and professional organizations. He was also an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and was appointed by U.S. President Biden to the USMA Board of Visitors.
He holds an AB in history from Princeton University and a JD from Stanford Law School.
