Alok Sinha is a member of Dataminr’s Corporate Market Advisory Board and a retired Senior Partner and Vice Chairman of Deloitte’s Financial Services practice, where he held leadership roles including Chief Commercial Officer, Leader of Regulatory & Risk Services, and Leader of Banking and Capital Markets over a 24-year tenure. He represented Deloitte on the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation (CCMR), an eminent industry advocacy forum representing both bank and public perspectives pertaining to emerging rule making, regulations and policy. Prior to Deloitte, he served as Senior Vice President at Bank of America, specializing in corporate finance, treasury, and risk-adjusted capital management.
Alok has represented Deloitte on the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation and has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including Harvard Law School’s PIFS program for global regulators. He has published on risk, capital, and U.S. regulatory topics in Euromoney and the Risk Management Association Journal. Alok obtained his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from I.I.T, Kharagpur in India. He also holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.B.A. (Finance) from University of Texas at Austin.
