Please note that Dataminr may leverage automated employment decision tools (AEDT) that use artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies in connection with applications for employment in New York City.  This notice is intended to supplement the Dataminr Candidate Privacy Notice by providing information required for applicants in New York City.

Such technologies are used to help recruiters and hiring managers to efficiently review applications by suggesting or highlighting candidates for consideration. Final hiring decisions are made by hiring managers or members of human resources. Dataminr trains recruiters and hiring managers to recognize and mitigate biases and help prevent them.

We keep your personal data for no longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it is processed or as otherwise required under applicable laws as described in the Dataminr Candidate Privacy Statement. If you are successful in your application for a position at Dataminr, and choose to accept a position, we will retain the personal information you provide during the application process, and information about your application process, as part of your employee record.

As required by New York City Local Law 144, an independent auditor has reviewed the AEDT. The results are available here.
