Life at Dataminr

I’ve always viewed Black History Month through two lenses—first, a celebration of our progress and contributions to cultures all over the globe, and second, an assessment of what needs to happen next to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This month at Dataminr, we had the opportunity to do both. Between sharing the positive impact of HBCUs weekly and hosting internal discussions with customers who recounted their own Black professional experiences and DEI expectations—our team came together and committed to keeping up the momentum.

As a purpose-driven company where our global team brings their passion and expertise to work, Dataminr not only has an important opportunity to meet this socially reflective moment in history, but to set the foundation for true diversity, equity and inclusion. Part of that process is continually taking the time to listen and understand the diverse experiences of the marginalized so that we can genuinely and effectively pave a path forward together.
